Eggnog! Is there any other drink that is so quintessentially Christmas? Though there seems to be some folks out there who are squarely in the anti-eggnog camp, for those of us who love the nog… I’ve got the recipe for you!
Inspired by local products, we set out to make the traditional eggnog just a little more scrumptious with the flavours of maple and almond. Of course, it doesn’t hurt to drink it out of some handmade square glasses which are available at my studio right now.
Holiday Maple Eggnog
Combine eggnog, maple syrup and bourbon in large pitcher and chill. To serve, dip rim of glass in water then in crushed almonds. Stir eggnog mixture and pour into glass. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg. Enjoy!
